Infinity Cube (2016)
The Infinity Cube is a birthday gift to my girlfriend. In the dark it sort of looks like a Tesseract from the Marvel movies. To make this I ordered six one-way mirrors with a pre-drilled hole to fit the corner covers. I also ordered soft yellow LED string. The corner pieces where placed on the inside of the cube. This allowed the acrylic edges some space from each other. The space between the walls were necessary in order to correctly close the last wall. The assembly was simple with some nuts and bolts. However, in order to space out the LEDs I chose to string the wire crisscross to the bolts. This proved to be difficult with large hands but I managed to tighten up all the wires to the bolts with the tools on hand. The battery holder was screwed into one of the corner pieces for easy access. The result is a infinite galaxy on every face of the cube.
