Seeking a career at the intersection of art and science that enables the exploration of our world through intuitive data visualization, UI/UX design, and mixed reality environments.
1992 - Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.
2010 - Graduated from Kamehameha Schools unsure of the future, except for the fact I would be an engineer. That was certain.
2012 - Discovered microelectronics and soon fell in love with designing sound reactive LEDs.
2014 - Kickstarted the Laboratory for Advanced Visualization and Applications (LAVA) with Dr. Jason Leigh. Here, my career and obsession of data visualization was seeded.
2017 - Graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Computer Engineering.
Present - Since graduating I've moved to Los Angeles, California. Today I continue to work in Government funded research at The Aerospace Corporation. Here I get to apply my data visualization chops to my favorite subject, space.
In my research we attempt to explain the complex nature of space through intuitive interfaces. This leads us to push the boundaries of old enterprise user flows and explore new mediums of human computer interfaces.
When I'm not working, my hobbies include thinking about work, or watching movies/playing games to inspire my work.
