2016 - After designing Destiny, I quickly realized that I was the only one that knew how to build it. This project set out to teach my lab mates on how to construct a single column of Destiny. I built two training manuals, a traditional isometric paper view, and a Hololens 3D augmented reality view. Both manuals shared the same exact steps, built in AutoCAD. The paper manual was made in Word with a snap shot of each step. The Hololens manual was created in Unity with the fbx files exported from AutoCAD. Interestingly, users with the Hololens took twice as long to complete their columns compared to the paper manual users.
